Christmas Pictures

I know, I know, I know.....I have been seriously slacking, kinda seeing a little trend here ;)

Well, we decided to do our own Christmas pictures this year. It worked out pretty fabulously if you don't count the couple times Jay wanted to add some decoration and style to her dress in the form of, you guessed it, spit up! After two photo shoots we ended up with some great pictures to use in making the Christmas cards we sent out this year. Jaylen seemed to like getting her pic taken solo the most, and I can't complain, she does pretty good work.

Thanksgiving
For thanksgiving the family took a trip to see G-Funk Wanda in Las Vegas (pretty much our second home.) Jaylen actually did very well in the car, both ways. On the way down we were traveling at night and she pretty much slept most of the time. The trip back was during the day and she didn't do too bad. She would get a little upset for a couple minutes every once in a while, but hey, for a 21 week old I don't think we could have asked for any better.
I think her biggest problem was the fact that she was positive that it was time to be rolling around on the ground with a couple toys at hand, and the blasted car seat was definitely hindering that possibility.
Jaylen got her first taste of a real orange on thanksgiving day. She was digging it until it got a little too tart for her.
Every where we went people could not get enough of Jaylen. We have apparently produced the world's cutest little girl, not that we mind. I just don't want her getting a big ego or anything. ;)
All in all she had a blast on her first trip to Las Vegas and I think that she wants to go back again soon.

Happy Halloween!!

Just wanted to make sure everyone gets a chance to see the world's cutest lady bug. Sadly, Jaylen did not have the opportunity to join all the other ghastly ghouls and goblins that were out and about this year
. But, just wait until next year, she will surely be tricking and treating with a vengance, trying to make up for lost time.

Over the past couple of weeks she has grown to love her new gift. Her favorite toy on the Exersaucer is the one that rolls, with little balls inside (top right picture). It just so happens to be the one that makes the most sound. :)
Movin' up
Here we have some footage and photos of the very first tasting of REAL foood! It was a little bit of peas and she really did not mind them at all. It is pretty exciting for all of us! She has tried a number of foods since then and really likes carrots but not so
